No, the charging base requires 3 AAA batteries, which are not included.

How is the charging light base powered?

The charging base operates on 3 AAA batteries, providing a hassle-free, wire-free experience.

How does the charging light work? Is it safe to use?

The 395nm UV LEDs are designed to charge the glow-in-the-dark material and have had their voltage intentionally tuned and fully tested to ensure they won't cause any harm to your cards (each case is also 99.6% UV resistant).

395nm is also at the very tail end of the UV spectrum as changes to the visible light spectrum at 400 nm with purple being the shortest visible light wavelength, our eyes can see.

How long does the Phantom Ghost glow in the dark?

The glow duration depends on the charging time and ambient light conditions. The glow is typically brightest in the first 30 minutes after charging and gradually fades over time, depending on how long it was charged.
